Congratulations to Watermark Communities for their specialty pocket folder for Waterlefe Golf and River Club. The objective of this marketing piece was to provide a folder that could be assembled quickly on-site at the Waterlefe Sales Office, yet provide a unique, very natural look for this upscale community of homes nestled along the Manatee River. To accomplish this, Graphic Designer Mary Leesman, created an interesting die-cut effect utilizing the leaf element that is part of the Waterlefe logo. The leaf was reproduced in soft natural tones from four color process and then die-cut to become the flap closure for the horizontal format folder. The theme “Explore Waterlefe” was further emphasized with a deboss font on the front cover, creating an elegant three-dimensional effect. A velcro tab was applied for securing the contents inside and a box score allowed for expansion.The choice of an uncoated, soft green Graphika Vellum Scottish Mist cover accented the natural look and helped to soften the four color process leaf image.
