Ringhaver Equipment Company needed a multipurpose brochure which would not only describethe products and services available, but also reinforce Ringhaver's image of strength and integrity. Margie Martin of Martin and Associates Marketing coordinated the project by enlisting the design capabilities of McShane Communications. Photos of enormous earth moving equipment were silhouetted to take full advantage of the dramatic outlines. At the same time, emphasis was placed on Ringhaver's commitment to service by carefully positioning photos of the people who make the company run. To compliment the color and tone of the photos, a bar was printed on the outside edge of each text page consisting of a special-mix PMS solid with an overprinting halftone image of gears in a soft screen of metallic ink. Even with all the photos being used, there was still plenty of white space. On the text, dull aqueous coating was run to seal the large solid inks without yellowing the bright white stock. The cover, which was finished with a large emboss area and a diecut vertical pocket in the back was run with gloss aqueous coating to avoid fingerprints.
